Mussa is a genus of stony coral in the family Mussidae, commonly known as flower corals.

Characteristics

Mussa is a colonial, branching coral. The corallites are phaceloid, that is they have a tubular form growing from a common base. The individual corallites are large, being 10 to 20 millimetres (0.39 to 0.79 in) in diameter.[2]
