Mutare Sports Club

Mutare Sports Club was formerly known as Umtali Sports Club and is the home ground to the Manicaland province cricket team which hosts first class cricket. The venue is more famous for its off-field controversy, The Sourav Ganguly/Greg Chappell spat.It is the homeground of Mountaineers cricket team which participates in the national cricket franchise.Mutare Sports Club also is the home ground of Mutare Sports Club rugby (shumbaz).The rugby team participates in the national league.
