Muzafar Bhutto (August 23, 1970 - May 22, 2012; Sindhi: مظفر ڀٽو) was a Sindhi nationalist politician, who served as the Secretary General of the Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM). He was an influential leader of the Sindhudesh movement and he was key-person behind the foundation of the JSMM. His bullet-riddled body was found at a roadside near Hatri bypass, bearing torture marks, in Hyderabad after he went missing on February 24, 2011.[1]
Early life and education
Muzafar Bhutto was born in Sehwan, Jamshoro, Sindh. He attended Primary and Secondary School in Sehwan. Muzafar earned a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from University of Sindh. He also qualified DAE in Electrical Engineering.
Political career
In 1987 he inspired from a Sindhi nationalist leader G.M Syed. then he joined student wing of Sindhudesh movement. In 1990 he served as district Secretary of JSSF Dadu. 1992, he joined Jeay Sindh Mahaz as Taluqa Organizer; in 1993 he joined Jeay Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party as political activist; in 1994 he joined Jeay Sindh Inqalabi Tanzeem as a finance secretary; in 1996 joined Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Porrhiat Sangat (Labor Front) as district president of Dadu.

In 2001 he joined Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz as a central committee member; in 2002 he served as a central finance secretary of the organization. from October 6, 2005 to October 8, 2006 abducted by intelligence agencies, placed in detention for a year and declared amongst the missing persons. in 2008 he was elected as Vice Chairman of the organization. in 2009 he was elected in governing body of the organization and in 2010 he was elected as a secretory general of the JSMM.
State Charges
- June 12, 2005, F.I.R of PS Armeri under section 6/7/ATA, The state vs Muzafar Bhutto and others, charged bomb blasting in 500KV transmission lines. charges have not been proved after three years on 17 October 2008.
- Crime no 136/2006, in the court of Judicial Magistrate,Jamshoro: the state vs Muzaffar Bhutto.
- crime no 134/2006, In the court of Additional and Session Judge Kotri, 4/5 explosive substance act 6/7 ATA 1908: damaged the gas pipeline. F.I.R registered on 8 November 2006,Muzafar Bhutto was arrested as shown with some explosive material, bailed out in 2008.
- Crime no.113/2009, In the Anti terrorism court Hyderabad, Police Station Saeedabad district Matiari declared in bomb blast case under the article 431 PPC/126 Railway Act 3/5.
- 28 June 2009, ATC court Hyderabad crime no.130/2009 police Station Jamshoro declared him in 4/5(4A),(4B), explosive act 6/7 ATA. his younger brother died in an explosion in his house. Unfortunately, the charge was framed against Muzafar Bhutto, his younger brother Shah Nawaz Bhutto and Siknder Bhutto.
Death
He was missing some time and then found death near Hyderabad.[2] [3] [4] [5] He has been allegedly killed by the Inter Services Intelligence
