Mystery of the Glowing Eye is the fifty-first volume in the Nancy Drew Mystery Stories series. It was first published in 1974 under the pseudonym Carolyn Keene. The actual author was ghostwriter Harriet Stratemeyer Adams.
Plot
When Nancy eagerly accepts to help her father solve the mystery of a mysterious glowing eye, she has no way of knowing that it will lead to the kidnapping of her boyfriend Ned. A puzzling note in Ned's handwriting sets Nancy, Bess, and George on a dangerous search for a bizarre criminal. Nancy must not only thwart the criminal but also has to contend to the high-handed methods of a female lawyer who threatens to take the case away from Nancy.
