Nậm Nhùn is a rural district of Lai Châu Province in the Northwest region of Vietnam. As of 2003, the district had a population of 24,165.[1] The district covers an area of 1388.0839 km2. The district was established November 2, 2012 under Decree No.71/NQ-CP/2012 of the Government of Vietnam.
Nậm Nhùn includes 1 town and 10 villages:
- Nậm Nhùn town
- Rural Communes: Hua Bum, Mường Mô, Nậm Chà, Nậm Hàng, Nậm Manh, Pú Đao, Lê Lợi, Nậm Pì, Nậm Ban và Trung Chải.
Geography
The district lies in the western part of Lai Châu Province, to the west of Sin Ho District.[2]
