The N-Peace Awards are coordinated by the United Nations Development Programme's N-Peace Network. Since 2010, it has been awarded annually to the peace activist who have "done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations.[1] N-Peace is a multi-country network of peace advocates in Asia seeking to advance Women, Peace & Security (WPS) issues. It supports women’s leadership for conflict prevention, resolution and peace building, and promotes the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1325, and related resolutions, at regional, national and community levels.[2]
