NCAA Division I FBS football win-loss records since 1978

The following data is current as of the end of the 2015 season, which ended after the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship. The following list reflects the records according to the NCAA. This list includes all teams that have played in Division I-A/FBS since its creation in 1978, and only takes in effect games played while teams were members of Division I-A/FBS. This list takes into account results modified later due to NCAA action, such as vacated victories and forfeits. Percentages are figured to 3 decimal places. In the event of a tie, the team with the most wins is listed first.
