NKPR, founded in 2002 by Natasha Koifman, is a public relations and digital media agency with locations in Toronto and New York.

History

Natasha Koifman [1] started NKPR 10 years ago as a public relations agency that executes campaigns, events and strategic partnerships for its clients. In 2011 NKPR expanded its services to include a social media department.[2] Today, NKPR represents over 30 national and international brands.[3]

NKPR established the IT Lounge in 2006, during the time of the Toronto film festival, to connect celebrities with brands.[4] In 2012, NKPR evolved this concept by introducing the IT Lounge Portrait Studio, which brought in fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier to take portraits of guests.[5] Photographers such as Dustin Rabin and Caitlin Cronenberg also made appearances during the 3-day event to shoot guests.[6]

NKPR also supports philanthropic organizations; the company has developed long-term relationships with Camp Oochigeas, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Artists for Peace and Justice.[7]

NKPR is a private firm owned by the founder and president Natasha Koifman.[8]

In 2012, NKPR was ranked number 78 in the PROFIT/Chatelaine W100 ranking and award program, which celebrates the largest firms owned and operated by women.[9] Natasha was also selected as one of BIZBASH’s 66 Most Innovative Event Pros in 2012.[10] In 2013 Natasha was named Canada's most influential public relations professional on Twitter[11] and NKPR placed number 34 amongst Canada's fastest-growing marketing services & media companies in the 2013 Profit 500 industry rankings.[12]

Natasha Koifman has a weekly column in the Huffington Post,[13] and is a regular contributor to Astral Radio NEWSTALK 1010’s weekday morning show, Moore in the Morning, with host John Moore.[14]
