NK Å pansko is a Croatian football club based in the city of Zagreb, founded on 16 February 1958. It used to be one of the strongest second division teams in Croatia. Nowadays (2013), NK Å pansko is playing in the third Croatian league.

Colors and club badge

NK Å pansko colors are red and white. Red uniforms are usually for home matches.

Trivia

It's interesting that Branko Strupar, a Belgian international and a well known Premiership player, started his career at NK Å pansko. In those years Å pansko were a strong second division club and Strupar a neighbourhood hero. From Å RC Å pansko Strupar moved to the Belgian side K.R.C. Genk.

It is also interesting to know that Strupar is a native of the Prečko, a rival neighbourhood. Prečko is located on the south of Špansko, directly next to it.
