NYC 1978 was the final live album by American punk rock band, the Ramones. It was released by King Biscuit Entertainment on August 19, 2003 as part of the King Biscuit Flower Hour Archive Series.

Background

Tommy Ramone served as the drummer on this recording. He left the band soon afterwards, although he continued to work with the other members as a producer and manager. This was his last album as the Ramones' drummer.

In 2004, the album was re-released again on Sanctuary Records with the title "Live, January 7, 1978 At The Palladium, NYC", and with new cover art.
