Nagar(নগর,नगर) is a town in the state of West Bengal, India. As of the 2011 census, it was the 10th largest town in Murshidabad[1](after Baharampur, Kandi, Jangipur, Farakka, Dhuliyan, Lalgola, Lalbagh, Raghunathganj and Beldanga)and is situated in central part of West Bengal. Khargram police station serves this area. Nagar is the administrative headquarters of Khargram CD Block.It is located about 190 km from Kolkata, the state capital
