Najwa bin Laden
Najwa bin Laden (born c. 1959), née Ghanem, is a Syrian woman who was the first wife and first cousin of Osama bin Laden.[1] Her father is the brother of Osama's mother, Hamida al-Attas (born Alia Ghanem).[2] Najwa was "promised" in marriage to Osama.[2] She is the mother of Saad bin Laden, as well as at least 10 more children. She co-authored Growing Up bin Laden with her son Omar.[3]
