"Naked In The Rain" is a hit song performed by dance music group Blue Pearl and released as their debut single in 1990. Blue Pearl consists of Durga McBroom and Youth (aka Martin Glover). Durga was the singer, and Youth was the producer. They co-wrote the song.

It is different from most dance songs, as it features a heavier, rawer sound, mostly due to live drumming samples (mixed with a drum machine) and the hard-hitting synthesizer riffs not too dissimilar to the sound of 808 State and Graham Massey from 808 State was the track's co-producer/remixer.

The song was first a hit in the UK, reaching #4 on the UK Singles Chart [1] in July 1990 and later becoming a hit dance song in the U.S., hitting the top five on the Hot Dance Club Play chart.

A music video accompanied the song on its release, featuring Durga performing in a tropical jungle-like scene mixed with scenes in an almost 3rd world setting, and visualizes the overall atmosphere of the song.
