Nan Marriott-Watson
Nan Marriott-Watson was an actress and Broadway theatre performer born in 1899 or 1900 in West Derby, Lancashire. A character actress in the 1950s, 60s and '70s, she played the famous character of Doris Archer at Archers from 1 January 1951.[1] She also took part as Ena Sharples in the pilot episodes of Coronation Street in 1960. She died on 28 August 1982.
