Naotaka Machida (町田 直隆 Machida Naotaka, born December 25, 1978 in Nerima, Tokyo) is a Japanese rock singer and guitarist.[1]
Biography
As a student, Naotaka Machida listened to a great deal of music, and the experience gave him a desire to be a musician. His eventual style was especially influenced by British music of the 1970-1980s. His career started as the vocalist of the band Bungee Jump Festival in 1998. The band made five albums and one mini album before disbanding in 2005.
After the band's break up, Machida pursued solo work. His first compilation album was made with Yujin Ueki and released in 2006. Eikou Naki Heishitachi ni Sasagu and Syudaika were released in 2007 and 2008 respectively.
