Naoto Matsuo (松尾 直人 Matsuo Naoto, born September 10, 1979 in Wakayama) is a Japanese football player currently playing for FC Osaka.
A left sided defender / midfielder who started his professional career with Vissel Kobe. He played 145 games in the top level, scoring 6 times from 1998 until 2009, with Kobe, FC Tokyo and Albirex Niigata.[1] He was occasionally used as a right back.
He is now playing for Japanese amateur team FC Osaka in the country's 5th division.[2]
