Napoléon Aubin

Napoléon Aubin (9 November 1812  12 June 1890) was a Canadian journalist, publisher, playwright, and scientist. Born in Geneva, Aubin sailed to the United States in 1829. In 1835 he moved to Montreal and shortly thereafter to Quebec City. Aubin contributed to a number of newspapers as well as publishing his own periodicals. In addition to journalism, Aubin worked as a scientist and, from 1875, as the honorary consul of Switzerland.
