Nassarius papillosus, common name : the Pimpled Nassa, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Nassariidae, the Nassa mud snails or dog whelks.[1]
Description
The shell size varies between 30 mm and 52 mm
Distribution
This species occurs in the Indian Ocean along Aldabra, Chagos, Madagascar, the Mascarene Basin, Mauritius and RĂ©union, and also in the Pacific (New Caledonia, Marquesas Islands)
