Natasha Alexandra, known by the stage name NLX, is a Canadian dark-pop singer, songwriter and keyboardist. She was born then grew up in Hamilton - Ontario,[1] and currently lives in New York City.[2]
She released two EPs in 2006, and one full-length album in 2009. Her independent record label is named BGF Music, initials from the expression which was also used as the title of the first album.
The song "Find Love", co-written by Natasha and Byron Wong, gained fame when it was featured in the ending scenes of the fourth episode of season 5 (titled A Righteous Kiss) of ABC's TV series Brothers & Sisters, on October 17, 2010.
The same song was also featured in the drama-movie Off World by Mateo Guez, premiered in 2009.[3] The movie was shown at the Cannes International Film Festival in 2010, and at other festivals.
At the end of 2010, Natasha started writing new songs for her next album;[4] one is called "Putting It to Bed" and was already played live.[5]
