National Benefit Authority (NBA) is largest Disability Tax Credit service provider in Canada,[2] and a founding member of the Association of Canadian Disability Benefit Professionals (ACDBP). National Benefit Authority has an office in Toronto, but serves clients across Canada.[3]
The company was founded by Akiva Medjuck, who saw firsthand what it was like to deal with physical challenges, from relatives coping with disabilities, including a brother and a sister, both born deaf.[4]
Charitable activities
National Benefit Authority has maintained a philanthropic program since 2011 called The Akiva and Bilah Medjuck Foundation,[5][6] with a simple goal, "to give those with disabilities a chance at a better life".[7] In early 2015 they presented $150,000 cheque to True Patriot Love Foundation to benefit Canadian Military Families with Children with Special Needs.[8][9] Later in the year National Benefit Authority have partnered with Volleyball Canada, specifically to provide support to Canada’s men’s and women’s sitting volleyball teams.[10]
