Museum Siam is a museum that is located at Sanamchai road in Bangkok, Thailand. The museum Siam uses interactive storytelling with seven characters as intermediates. It focuses on the national identity of the people in Thailand which lets visitors learn about history of people in Thailand with a focus on people in Bangkok. The museum shows the development of Thailand from the past to present
Highlight
The highlight of Museum Siam is creating a new experience, especially, for children and young people. It creates a sense of knowing their neighbors and friends. The modern technology and creative activities make leaner history and stories more interesting than before. There are the Permanent Exhibitions, Temporary Exhibitions, and Learning Activities with Creativity. The idea of Museum Siam is “Play + Learn = เพลิน” which means joyously in Thai. This idea is the heart of the Museum of the National Curriculum. In the Museum Siam, it has many rooms such as The Roong Room. This room has a long panoramic screen for choosing a movies to watch about Thai’s history.
Information for visitor
Museum Siam is open every Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 06:00 pm and it closes on Monday. The tickets for admission have different prices. A ticket costs 50 baht for students (15 years and below). For Thai adults the price is 100 baht, and for foreign adults it is 300 baht.
