National PTSD Awareness Day

National PTSD Awareness Day is a day celebrated in order to create awareness regarding PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). It is celebrated annually on 27 June. It started in 2010. The PTSD Awareness Camp runs for the whole month of June, also known as PTSD Awareness Month.

There are organizations that helps patients with PTSD and to diagnose PTSD as soon as possible. War veterans or soldiers are at higher risk of PTSD.
