National Trail Local Schools is a public high school in New Paris, Ohio. It is the only high school in the National Trail Local Schools district. Their mascot is a blazer holding a gun.
National Trail High school was built in 1968. Average enrollment for this high school is around 360 students. NTHS is also a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), and the Cross County Conference (CCC) as their sports conference. NTHS offers football, soccer, cross country, volleyball, baseball, softball, track, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading and golf.
The golf team plays their home matches at Highland Lake Golf Course.
National Trail's FFA chapter is nationally recognized.
Staff
- The current principal of the high school is Robert "Bobby Fish" Fischer. (Predecessors: Michael Harrison, Mark Wiseman, and Jamie Blair.) Mr. Mark Wiseman (Middle School) and Mr. Ed Eales (Elementary) currently administer the lower grades of the school.
