National Union of Conservative and Unionist Associations

The National Union of Conservative and Unionist Associations was a federation of the voluntary wing of the Conservative Party in the United Kingdom.

It was founded in 1867 and was the first formal national Conservative organisation. Conservative Central Office was founded in 1870. It was responsible for running the party conferences, but did not have any power over the leadership, other than advisory. Unless otherwise stated, details of Chairmen and Presidents of the NUCUA are taken from British Political Facts 1900-1994 by David Butler and Gareth Butler.

It was replaced in 1998 by the National Conservative Convention.
