Natural History Museum of Denmark
The Natural History Museum of Denmark is a natural history museum located in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was created as a 1 January 2004 merger of Copenhagen's Zoological Museum, Geological Museum, Botanical Museum and Central Library, and Botanical Gardens.[1] It is affiliated with the University of Copenhagen.
On May 31, 2012, the winner of a competition for a new and centralized museum in the grounds of the Botanical Garden was divulged. During 2013-2017 the firm Lundgaard og Tranberg Arkitekter and architect Claus Pryds will bring their vision for Denmark's Natural History Museum to fruition.[2]
