Naulia Dawai (born 26 June 1987) is a New Zealand based Fijian rugby union player. He plays as a loose forward for Otago in the ITM Cup competition.
Playing career
Dawai came to New Zealand in 2011 to play club rugby in Southland, and managed to crack the Stags' squad for the 2013 ITM Cup, featuring mainly off the substitutes bench. He moved to Otago for 2014 but again saw limited playing time, making 5 appearances during the campaign.
For the 2015 ITM Cup, Dawai emerged as a regular in the Otago squad and leading try scorer. On 13 September, he scored 3 tries against Auckland, becoming only the 4th player in NPC history to score a hat trick at Eden Park. [1]
