Naveed Mukhtar

Lieutenant-General Naveed Mukhtar is a three-star rank army general and an who is currently the V Corps Commander Karachi.[1]

Education and background

Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar was commissioned in the Armoured Corps regiment in 1983. He is a graduate of the Command and Staff College Quetta, National Defense University Islamabad and War Course USA.He was previously DG CT in ISI and commander of 26 mechanized division in Bahawalpur . He was joined the Army at age 15 in 68 PMA. He grew his ranks till Major with 13 Lancers. Then he commanded 22 Cavalry. He is from the armored corps. [2][3]
