Nevena Božović (Serbian Cyrillic: Невена Божовић; Serbian pronunciation: [nɛ̌ʋɛna bɔ̂ʒɔʋitɕ]) (born 15 June 1994) is a Serbian singer. She represented Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö with the song "Ljubav je svuda", together with Mirna Radulović and Sara Jovanović. She is the first ever singer to enter both Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and the Eurovision Song Contest as a main artist.[1]
Early life
She was born and attended school in Kosovska Mitrovica. Božović is currently studying Music at University of Arts in Belgrade.[2]
Music career
In 2007, Nevena participated in Izbor za dečju pesmu Evrovizije, Serbia's national selection for Junior Eurovision with "Piši mi" (Write me). On the final night, she received the first place and went on to Rotterdam, Netherlands to represent Serbia. On December 8, Nevena was ranked third overall with 120 points, making Serbia's best result in the contest.
In 2009, after a small break from music, she decided to come back, taking part in Sunčane skale with "Ti" (You).
In 2012, Nevena took part in Serbia's version of The Voice. After three months of live shows, battles and challenges, Nevena qualified for the final, where she ranked second after Mirna Radulović.
In 2013, together with Mirna and Sara, all three participants in Prvi Glas, she took part in Beosong 2013 with "Ljubav je Svuda" (Love is all around). The trio won the contest with over 25,000 votes and went on to represent Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, where they performed in the first semi-final[3] and finished eleventh, missing out on the final by six points. That same year, in July, she presented her new single, named "Pogledaj me" (Look at me). In the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, she was one of the five jurors for the Serbian jury panel.

Notes
a. | ^ Kosovo is the subject of a territorial dispute between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia. The Republic of Kosovo unilaterally declared independence on 17 February 2008, but Serbia continues to claim it as part of its own sovereign territory. The two governments began to normalise relations in 2013, as part of the Brussels Agreement. Kosovo has been recognised as an independent state by 108 out of 193 United Nations member states. |
