NewRiver Retail is a specialist listed real estate investment trust (REIT), focused primarily on retail and leisure property. The company own 29 shopping centres, 22 retail warehouses, 14 high street units and 359 public houses [1]

History
NewRiver Retail was incorporated on 1 September 2008 as a private limited company, and is headquartered at 37 Maddox Street, Mayfair, London, W1S 2PP.[3] The finance director since 2011 is Mark Anthony Philip Davies,[4] husband of the Conservative MP, Mims Davies.[5] NewRiver Retail have donated to her "local party organisation or indirectly via a central party organisation"[6]
In December 2013, NewRiver Retail acquired 202 pubs from Marston's for £90 million [7]
In August 2015, NRR acquired 158 pubs from Punch Taverns for £53.5 million.[8]
As of October 2015, NewRiver Retail had a market cap of £615 million.[9]
