The New York City Internationalz also known as NYCIZ is a technology development company, which specializes in resource engineering, real estate development, and community engagement for progression of new value-added services and products to urban markets globally.
The New York City Internationalz now doing business as NYCIZ is also a member of the American Basketball Association which began play in 2008. Based in New York City, the Internationalz played their home games at Elmcor community center in Corona, Queens and Baruch College in Manhattan. The Internationalz benchmarked Minor-League basketball in New York City basketball, appearing in many web media and magazine publications while engaging all communities by hosting the first ever professional basketball tryout camps in public parks throughout New York City; Players from all over the world were present to try out for the Internationalz from: USA, Japan, Europe, Caribbean, South America, Asia, Africa, and Middle East. Tryout camps were held at Holcombe Rucker Park, Hoffman Park, Chelsea Park, and West 4th Street. The Internationalz were also the only American Basketball Association team to defeat a CBA team, the defending CBA champions- Albany Patroons, before the Continental Basketball Association was discontinued.
