New York Private Bank & Trust Corporation is a bank holding company headquartered in New York City, United States. Howard Milstein is the Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer. As of early 2007, it had $17.3 billion in assets and was the 50th largest bank holding company in the United States.[1] The company has over 1211 employees.[2]

- 1850 - established as the Emigrant Savings Bank[3]
- 1979 - acquired Prudential Savings Bank of New York City[3]
- 1992 - acquired Dollar Dry Dock Bank of White Plains, New York[3]
- 2005 - formed New York Private Bank & Trust as the bank holding company[3]
