News 24 is a purely news channel originally founded by Italian journalist and former shareholder of Gazeta Shqiptare newspaper, Radio Rash, and Balkanweb portal, Carlo Bollino. The channel's format resembles its Italian equivalent Rai News. News is updated every minute, which has made News 24 one of the favorite stations of many Albanian institutions and news junkies. Launched in 2002, TV News 24 is Albania’s first and still leading 24-hour news channel. More information is available on the company website.[1] News 24 is Albania’s first 24-hour news channel and currently commands the largest market share for news broadcasting. The Albanian television industry is rapidly advancing and becoming extremely competitive. News 24 is committed to maintaining its market leadership by adopting leading-edge technologies — and one component is the ability to deliver a highly sophisticated on-air presentation that easily outclasses the competition.
