Newtownbreda High School was a controlled secondary school in south Belfast, Northern Ireland, established in 1966. On 31 August 2015, the school officially closed, having had its end of term in June 2015. It merged with Knockbreda High School to become Breda Academy.

The school offers a wide range of subjects including: English, Mathematics, Science, Modern Languages, Technology, ICT, Citizenship, Employability, Learning for Life and Work, Music, Religious Education, Physical Education, Geography, History, Art, Home Economics, Drama, Business Studies and many others.

The school has a Sixth Form which enables pupils to stay on after fifth year for a further two years to complete A-levels.

Colin Black was the most recent principal, having served from 2004 to 2015.
