Nexit Ventures is a Nordic-US venture capital firm that invests in growth companies in the mobile and wireless segments.[1]
Nexit Ventures was founded in 1999 and it has raised two investment funds totaling €152 Million.[2] The firm has offices in Helsinki, Finland, Saratoga, CA, and Stockholm, Sweden. The general partners of the firm are Michel Wendell, Artturi Tarjanne, Pekka Salonoja, and Michael Mandahl.
Nexit invests primarily in the Nordic Countries and the US West Coast. Its investments include Aava Mobile,[3] Bitfone (acquired by Hewlett-Packard),[4] Ekahau,[5] Futuremark,[6] Hantro (acquired by On2 and subsequently by Google),[7] Hybrid Graphics (acquired by nVidia),[8] Mobile365 (acquired by Sybase),[9] and Octoshape.[10]
