Nguyễn Bặc
Nguyá»…n Bặc (chữ Hán: 阮åŒ; 924 – 15 October 979 lunar calendar) was a Vietnamese general and administrator. He helped future emperor Äinh Bá»™ LÄ©nh put an end to the troubles of the Anarchy of the Twelve Warlords and to establish the short-lived Äinh Dynasty.[1] After Äinh Bá»™ LÄ©nh and his chosen successor Äinh Liá»…n were murdered by a palace official, Äá»— ThÃch, Nguyá»…n Bặc captured the murderer and had him executed. He then tried unsuccessfully to organize resistance to Lê Hoà n.[2]
