Power struggle of the Nguyen Dynasty
The late Crown Prince Bảo Long denied the validity of Bửu Chánh's claims to be "regent" of the Nguyễn Dynasty, or to represent the Imperial House in any way whatsoever.
Bửu Chánh states on his website "Please note, that on the express wishes of their late father, Emperor Bao Dai, both brothers were forbidden to take part in any form of politics and this included Vietnamese Orders of Chivalry", but has not provided any documentation to show proof.
