Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao
In this Vietnamese name, the family name is Nguyen. According to Vietnamese custom, this person should properly be referred to by the given name Thao.
Nguyễn Thị Phương Thảo (born June 7, 1970) is a Vietnamese businesswoman and the CEO of VietJet.[1] Thao met with early success while studying finance and economics in Moscow, where she began distributing goods from Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea in the then Soviet Union. Since then she has developed a portfolio of business interests, including VietJet, which she still holds a 90% stake in, and Sovico Holdings, that itself holds a 90 per cent stake in Ho Chi Minh City's Dragon City development[2]
