Niška zona is the fourth-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Football Association of Region East Serbia.
Niška zona consists of 16 clubs from Nišava District, Pirot District, Pčinja District, Jablanica District, Toplica District and Kosovo Serb Enclaves who play each other in a double round-robin league, with each club playing the other club home and away. At the end of the season the top club will be promoted to Serbian League East, while second placed team in this group faces second team Pomoravsko-Timočka Zona side for a two-legged play-off. The winner on aggregate score after both matches will earn a spot in the Serbian League East.
