Niagara United FC is a Canadian professional soccer team founded in 2010, playing in the Canadian Soccer League (CSL), an unsanctioned league, in 2011. The team plays its home games in Kalar Sports Park in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The club has two teams in the CSL: a 1st Division Pro Team and a 2nd Division Reserve Team. The first team is coached by Bruno Reis and serves as the Pro Soccer Club for the Niagara Region.

History

Niagara United debuted in the Canadian Soccer League on May 14, 2011, drawing their first away game against the York Region Shooters B team 2-2. The team played their first home game against Toronto FC Academy on May 21, 2011.[1]

Niagara United hosted a friendly match against Bedlington Terriers FC, then playing in the English Northern Football League, on June 28, 2011, losing 4-1.[2][3][4]
