Nibelung, Count of Betuwe

Nibelung (d. before 953), Count of Betuwe (943-953), son of Ricfried, Count of Betuwe, and Herensinda. Nibelung became either count or co-count of Betuwe prior to his father’s death in 950.

Nibelung married Liethard, daughter of Reginar II, Count of Hainaut, and Adelaide of Burgundy. Their children were;

NIbelung was succeeded by his son Rudolph as Count of Betuwe upon his death.
