Nic Hard (born 5 July 1978) is a New York City-based music mixer, engineer, and producer. He is best known for his work with The Bravery, The Church (band), Ghost Beach (band), and Snarky Puppy.[1] Other acts Hard has worked with include Charlie Hunter, Bill Laurance, Forq, Rudder, The Ropes, Aberdeen City (band), and The Kin.[2]

Career

Nic Hard began his career as an intern at Unique Recording Studios in New York City. After Unique, he moved to RPM Studios, also in New York City, where he was house engineer for three years. Given an opportunity to record and co-produce The Church's album, Forget Yourself, Hard went freelance in 2002.

In 2003, Hard began working with The Bravery on their debut album, The Bravery (album). The album was released on Island Def Jam Records in the United States and Loog Records in the United Kingdom. The album was awarded a Gold Record by the British Phonographic Industry, earning Hard his first Gold Record.

Hard is represented by Joe D'Ambrosio Management.[3]
