Nicky 2 is a platform game originally released for the Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, and PC DOS by Microïds in 1992. It is a sequel to 1992's Nicky Boom. Its iPhone version was released as Nicky Boom 2 in 2009.

Gameplay

The player controls a little boy named Nicky who moves on his feet and on a flying magic goose. Nicky's main weapons against monsters are firecracker bombs, stones, and ultrasound whistles.[1]

Plot

At the end of the first game, Nicky has managed to vanquish the cruel Zoldrane the Sorceress once and for all and rescue his grandfather. But they learn that the witch had a mysterious sister who is equally evil and even more powerful and now plots revenge, so his grandfrather sends Nicky to seek out her lair and rid of this new threat.[1][2] The witch takes form of a dragon and when she is defeated a volcano erupts and destroys her dark realm as Nicky flies away on his goose.

Reception

Nicky 2 received mixed ratings, including 67% from Amiga Computing, 72% from Amiga Format, 58% from CU Amiga, and D- from Amiga Game Zone.[1][2][3]
