Nicky Low (born 6 January 1992) is a Scottish football midfielder who plays for Dundee. Low has previously played for Aberdeen, Forfar Athletic and Alloa Athletic.
Club career
Aberdeen
Low made his first team debut for Aberdeen as a substitute on 27 January 2010, against Heart of Midlothian. Aberdeen won the game 3–0.[1] On 29 December 2013, he scored his first goal for Aberdeen, in a 1–0 win against Ross County.[2] In the Scottish League Cup final against Inverness Caledonian Thistle on 16 March 2014, Low came off the bench in the 70th minute and scored Aberdeen's second penalty in the penalty shoot out.[3] On 15 May 2014, Low signed a new one-year contract with Aberdeen.[4]
Forfar Athletic loan
On 30 August 2011, Low went on loan to Forfar Athletic until January.[5] After impressing on loan, he went back to Forfar until the end of the 2011–12 season. During his time at Forfar, Low was voted Supporter's Player of the Year and Young Sky Blues Player of the Year.[6]
Alloa Athletic loan
On 18 October 2012, Low joined Alloa Athletic on loan initially for a month.[7] The loan was eventually extended until January before he was recalled by Aberdeen.
Dundee
On 20 April 2015, Low signed a pre-contract agreement to join Dundee on a three-year deal from the start of the 2015–16 season.[8][9]
