Nicolas Constantin-Bicari (born 5 December 1991 in Montreal, Quebec) is a water polo player of Canada. He lives in Repentigny, Quebec. He was part of the Canadian team at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships and 2015 World Aquatics Championships.[1]

Personal

He has a father Sylvain Bicari, a mother Linda Constantin and an older brother David. He completed Cégep via distance and is ready to start university by distance in fall 2015.

Career

Constantin-Bicari started playing water polo when he was 5 years old because he had a brother and five cousins already playing. At the 2010 Junior Pan American Championships he helped Canada made history in winning the gold medal. He had joined the senior national team a year earlier and helped the men to a best-ever eight place finish at the 2009 FINA World Championships. He also competed at the world championships in 2011 and 2013. At the 2011 Pan Am Games in Guadalajara, Constantin-Bicari was ranked sixth in goals scored, with 10 of his 21 shots reaching the back of the net, as Canada won the silver medal. He went on to be the second highest scorer at the 2014 FINA Water Polo World League Super Final, recording 16 goals in six games. Shortly thereafter, he signed a professional contract with Jug Dubrovnik, a revered Croatian club that is the equivalent of one of the NHL’s Original Six teams. He had previously played in Marseille, France.
