Nicolas Timmermans is a Belgian footballer who plays for Eupen in the Belgian Second Division.[1]
Career
Although not technically one of the greats, such as Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, he is well known due to the Fifa franchise of football games. His name has been used for the act of doing a 'Timmermans' shot, which is where a wide player, generally a full-back, goes for goal from out wide near the half-way line using an abundance of outside swerve to make the ball hit the far post and go in after the ball has swerved a number of metres.
