The Presidential Palace Nicolau Lobato is the palace of the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. Opened on August 27, 2009, it was a work of the Chinese for the East Timor government. It honors Nicolau Lobato, an East Timorese national hero. Formerly the President was based at the Palace of Cinsas.[1]
