Biography

Early life

Fiscella, who has a younger brother, Chaz George Fiscella, was born in Lenox Hill Hospital Manhattan, New York, and is the daughter of two doctors. Fiscella was also in the All-State Jazz Choir with world-renowned director and political activist, Jim Augustine.

Career

Fiscella started modeling in 2005, under New York Model Management. She has appeared on the covers of various beauty and fashion magazines, including Elle and Cosmopolitan, as she has also featured in campaigns for Pantene and GAP Body. Fiscella bagged the role of Isabel Coates, a "friend"/sidekick of Blair Waldorf and a part of the insider clique in The CW's Gossip Girl in March 2007. Fiscella as Coates has featured in 14 out of 18 episodes of the first season. She will be returning in the second season, of Gossip Girl, which is set to air in Fall 2008. Personal life

Fiscella graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport - although she admits that she has never been on to the campus, as she is taking the course online. When asked why she wanted to study Nutrition, by The New York Observer, Fiscella replied "Both of my parents are doctors, so we were always the health-nut family. I think I always wanted to do something in the medical field a little bit, but not as far as being a doctor, so this is a good median". Fiscella lives with her two cats, Tess and Oli in Manhattan. She says that she is addicted to blogging and exercise.
