Nicoletta Ceccoli is a San Marinian artist who is known for her richly detailed, dreamlike work.[1] She was born in and still lives in the Republic of San Marino and studied animation at the Institute of Art in San Marino, Italy. She has illustrated many books,[2] including Cinderella and The Girl in the Tower, written by Lisa Schroeder. Her work has been exhibited and sold internationally. Ceccoli has won the Andersen Prize, "honoring her as the best children's book illustrator in Italy."[3]
