Niederösterreichische Nachrichten (also known as NÖN) is a German regional weekly newspaper published in St. Pölten, Austria.[1]

History and profile

NÖN is published weekly[2] and is part of the NÖN Niederösterreichische Nachrichten company.[3] Its publisher is Niederösterreichisches Pressehaus.[4] The paper is based in St. Pölten[4] and provides mostly local news,[5] serving for Lower Austria.[6] Martin Gebhart is the editor-in-chief of the paper.[7]

NÖN had a circulation of 184,000 copies in 2007.[8] It was 170,000 copies in 2010.[9]
