Nieuwendam is a former village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is now a neighbourhood of Amsterdam-Noord.
Nieuwendam was a separate municipality until 1921, when it was merged with Amsterdam. The municipality covered the villages of Nieuwendam and Zunderdorp.[1]
